This pack replaces almost all of the signs in Office Complex in Half-Life Source. It will replace some other signs in different chapters as some signs are used in other parts of the game. | At the top of the lift, turn left and watch some Headcrabs getting killed by an electrified wire, then kill any ones that get past it. Crawl to the vent, and break it open with your crowbar, then turn right and crawl up the vent. At the end, jump out and kill the barnacle before it kills the scientist. Watch for Barnacles breaking holes in the ceiling and find a door that leads to a switch. Press the switch. This turns off the lights, and allows you to pass the electrified wire earlier. The red double doors will open from this side so just walk through them. | |
| Go all the way along the passage and break the window to get through. Turn left twice and walk up to the wooden door, then stand back and watch the Zombie destroy the stuff around it then the door - kill it when it's done. You will find some pistol ammo in there. | |
| Optional - Get the Shotgun, health and ammunition Then go round the corner to the left and break your way through the boxes. Warning! There is a Headcrab behind a very large box. Pick up the shotgun on the box to your right and put it away - you don't need it yet - then walk over near the security guard and quickly kill the Zombie before it kills the security guard. He will then let you through the gate. Round the next corner is some health and ammo, but watch out for the Headcrab that comes down from above. Then get the security guard to follow you (if you wish for protection) back to the red double doors earlier. | |
| Jump through the broken window onto a table in a flooded room (see picture). It is important not to touch the water as it is electrified. Jump onto the worktop, then onto the table in front of the First-Aid Unit, then onto the other worktop. Press the light switch. The water is no longer electrified. Walk through the water to the vent. While standing in front of it, three Headcrabs (one after the other) should try to attack you through the cover, kill them, then break the vent cover and climb through. Stay crouched when you come to the big fan, then continue to the end of the shaft. The floor will break below you at the end. Open the double doors and get the security guard (if you brought him with you) to follow you into the corridor. | |
| Kill the Headcrabs that think it's a good idea to drop in, then get the boxes in a good position to climb the ladder in the ceiling. Climb through then break the vent, then the second vent, BUT DO NOT jump down into the room yet. You will then watch a scientist, then a Headcrab be killed by a security gun gone bad. Save it here, then wait for the security gun to stop bleeping and turn off. jump down and run to the right and under the platform and pull the lever, this will turn it off properly (it won't attack you again). Break all the boxes then go through the door in front of you. Collect the ammo then: • Continue and collect your security buddy, or/and • Return to the room with the security gun. | |
| Walk round the corner and quickly kill the Headcrabs. Then climb the stairs and meet another security guard. Walk round the two corners and kill the Headcrab that falls from the ceiling. At this point it's a good idea to get out that shotgun you've been saving (if you picked it up in that optional box). Walk in the door on the left and collect the health and power. Then return to the corridor and quick-save the game. | |

| Slowly make your way around the area killing the Alien Slaves as you go. A Headcrab will fall down at 'A'. Do not pass the dotted line yet. | |
| Go to the 'maintenance access' square in the diagram above. Break the ceiling there. A ladder is concealed behind it. Climb the ladder. | |
| At the top (see picture) run round to the automated machine gun, then run round the corner and switch it off (just switching it off without running round first won't work). Then climb back down the ladder. Head to the 'Exit' in the diagram above, there is another Alien Slave hiding behind the second vending machine. At the staircase make sure your security guard (if you bought him) isn't killed by the barnacle. Climb the stairs and be careful of lots of Headcrabs and walk round a few corners and kill the Alien Slaves. You have completed part 1! Save your game. | |

| Optional: When you walk through the red door, there is a vent access behind you. This eventually leads you to some ammo and health.
Collect the grenades, ammo, and use the First-Aid Unit, then walk through the door and turn left to return to where you started.

| Walk down the ramp to collect some ammo and grenades, and watch out for a Bullsquid hiding behind some boxes. On the way back watch out for some incoming Alien Slaves. | |
| Go through to the big room and kill the Zombie. When you get close to the main area, lots of Headcrabs will fall from the ceiling, kill them, then break the wood blocking the following door. Follow the corridor and kill the Zombies by the First-Aid Unit. | |
| Pull the lever and go through the door, then make your way around the area, watching out for some Headcrabs and two Bullsquids. Pull a lever (see picture) near one of the Bullsquids when you come to it. After that return to where you started and climb the ladder and break the vent. Crawl along the shaft and kill the Headcrab before breaking the second vent. Then continue all the way till you get to a seemingly dead end. When a crane sort of thing comes past, jump on it and break the boxes. Jump off the other side at the right moment, and crawl through the shaft to a sort of step. Watch out for a Headcrab there. Then continue through the shaft and collect the power cell from the dead scientist. At a room with lots of shafts, kill the Barnacle that is in your way, and climb to the top. Crawl through the next shafts and watch out for some more Headcrabs. | |
| At the staircase, turn left and break some boxes round the corner, then climb the stairs and watch out for a Headcrab at the top. If you turn right and stand in front of the red door, you will see the G-Man straighten his tie then walk away. | |
| Go down the corridor and kill the two Zombies. In the office that a scientist rolls out of is some Shot Gun ammo and some health. Then walk as far back from the broken lift as you can, quick-save the game, then run and jump onto the ladder. This may take a few tries, but you'll get there eventually. Then make your way up the ladder, then quick save the game before jumping onto the lift mounted ladder. Simply break the escape hatch in the top of the lift and jump down. Congratulations! You've completed the level! Save the game. | |
